Ty Siamas

Opened in June 2007, Ty Siamas is the home of the National Centre of Welsh Folk Music. Using a variety of exhibitions and multi media stands, children and adults alike can learn about the interesting and fascinating passage of folk music through time.

With the exhibition featuring many of the old and new instruments that have been used throughout time, as well as information videos and activity stands.

Ty Siamas also boasts an modern, comfortable auditorium for live performances, details of which are available here.

The Centre offers educational workshops for school children, and provides a base for Folk singers to produce their own work, offering recording studios inside.
