Starting from the Visitor Centre Car Park, the highlight of the walk has to be the viewpoint and the picnic area, with panoramic views towards Y Garn, as well as the scenery northwards along the Rhinog Ridge towards Trawsfynydd.

 

This is a walk for all the family, suitable for pushchairs and has resting benches frequently along the way. There are no steps or stiles to negotiate with on the gently rising gradient.

 

You pass through a number of habitats, which include willows, open birches and large evergreens as you climb to the Cefndeuddwr viewpoint.

 

Disabled visitors have the option of driving to the viewpoint - just pick up a key for the gate from reception.
